Five Fingers for Marseilles rakes half a million rand on opening weekend

It's local movie season! The breakthrough new western, Five Fingers for Marseilles opened to the tune of R500 000 this weekend in South Africa, per a SowetanLIVE report.
 
The film stars Vuyo Dabula, Hamilton Dhlamini, Warren Masemola, Kenneth Nkosi and Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhethe in a story about a group of friends who dedicate themselves to protecting their small town from police oppression. Things get out of hand when protagonist Tau (Dabula) kills two corrupt policemen. He flees from the town only to return 20 years later to find peace.
