Madonna's Joins Forces With Avicii

10 March 2014

Queen of pop Madonna has already started recording new music for her 13th studio album and has now revealed that she is collaborating with Swedish house DJ Avicii.

This new album will be the follow up to the Material Girl's MDNA. An album which got much critical acclaim but performed poorly and failed to win over fans who felt it sounded uncharacteristically generic.

Though the album underperformed and barely sold 2 million copies the MDNA World Tour went on to become the highest grossing tour by a solo act and made Madonna the highest paid musician of 2013 as she earned a staggering 125 million dollars (net)!

Many fans are not particularly excited about the announcement however with most remarking that the EDM trend is a bit played out and that it is quite unlike Madonna to follow trends rather than set them. However only time will tell what the queen of reinvention is serving up this time and what the album will sound like ultimately. We can't wait!
