Nakhane delivers “Interloper” performance

16 May 2018
After a brief trip back home to South Africa, Nakhane shot off to Cannes. The multi-hyphenated artist who claims the titles musician, actor and author was not only at the French Riviera resort town for its annual film festival, he was also there for a set of performances.

For one of Nakhane’s sets, we’re lucky enough to have footage of a performance of his single, “Interloper.” Donning a black suit with a body brace in place of a shirt, the You Will Not Die wizard takes on his final form for this performance.
Costume appears to be a big deal for him. For his red carpet look, he sported a Rich Mnisi suit - with a shirt, this time - for a look which he describes as 'Chic Black Skinhead'.

For another performance at the festival, he stuck to the suited look only this time he opted for a blood orange hue with a cellophane top which exposed his nipples just right.
Could Nakhane be an icon? All signs and suits suggest so.
