terry pheto leads iara nominees

Terry Pheto star continues to shine brighter and brighter. Straight off her Black Reel nomination, it has now been announced that she has received three nods at the fourth annual International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) for her roles in Winnie and A United Kingdom.
 
Her nominations for  Best Actress, Best Actress TV/Drama and Best International Actress categories make her the most nominated artist at the awards.
 
"There are no words to express how I've felt over the past few days. It's always extremely humbling to be recognised for the work I do and more so on internationally recognised platforms," Terry reportedly said in a statement. "Who would ever have thought that a girl from the Vaal would one day be nominated in the same category as the likes of Oprah Winfrey and lead with the most nominations on an internationally recognised award platforms like the IARA Awards?"
 
The IARA Awards aim to celebrate the works of outstanding role models who excel in their respective industries. The awards are expected to take place 2 September in London.
