There won’t be a Season 2 of Being Bonang

Your ever-growing Bonang meme gallery is about to reach maturity. Being Bonang has been canned after its first season, the show's subject announced via her Twitter.
 
"No Season Two," she tweeted fans. "But, a big THANK YOU to everyone's who's loved & watched my show… Means the world to me."

Being Bonang took fans through the television personalities celebrity lifestyle through 12 episodes. From preparing for shows and photoshoots to attending meetings and events, it was an unusual glimpse into her, of-late, private life. There was even the infamous book launch and her highly publicised relationship with AKA.
 
There's no word on exactly why the show has come to an end other than Bonang saying she's "going back into my shell."
 
Being Bonang reportedly didn't make DStv's Top 30 Most-Watched Shows in July and August.
