tumi morake feels like designers won't want to dress her

19 May 2017
Tumi Morake has been announced as one of the hosts of this year’s South African Music Awards and it looks as if she’s going to be the belle of the ball; the mistress of the moment; the honourable honouree of the hour (okay you get the picture). She’s going to look gorgeous.IF she gets someone to dress her.Now you’re probably thinking, “Who wouldn’t want to dress up the host of this year’s #SAMA23?” Well, according to the comedian, it’s because of the amount of politics in the South African entertainment industry."That's the one thing I am not looking forward to. I have to go knock on designer's doors and say, 'please dress me, I know I'm double the size to your usual people but please...,'"Wow, is the industry that shallow? According to Tumi Morake, it is and she described it as “plastic”."This is a plastic industry at the end of the day, let's not pretend. I know me and red carpets are not best friends. I am always hoping I don't embarrass myself,"She revealed that she hopes that a big SA designer will take the initiative and offer to “glam” her up.
